PROFESSORSHIP
Dr. Brenda (Dr. B)
Personal Testimonials of Learners
I just wanted to thank you for all of your assistance in the past eight weeks. I have taken many classes and professors like yourself are a dying breed. You not only helped me with my database work, you also helped me with my APA and exploring other concepts related to databases. I would also like to thank you for answering my 1000000 emails and my phone calls when I needed assistance. It has really been a pleasure being one of your students. I do hope to have you as a professor again in the future, it was truly been a rewarding experience.
I want to thank you Dr. Brenda. You were there and willing to talk when I was freaking out over this class. You must have dropped everything to talk me at times. And that says a lot about you as a person and as a teacher. I chose my topic for my study because I did work in education. I loved working with "my babies" but it was small minded individuals that caused me to leave. And I hope some day to return to education and to be able to teach life lessons again. I miss the days of sitting and talking my students through crisis. They had crisis's a lot, whether they were big or small, they were crisis's to them. For many of them, it was there first time they were away from home and they were just looking for that person to count on and I was happy to be that person. That person to guide through the good and the bad times. Just as you have guided me through this course.

You are absolutely amazing! I cannot thank you enough for the encouragement you have provided throughout. Every educational facility would benefit from a professor as dedicated as yourself. God Bless. Very Respectfully,

Thank you Dr.
Brenda! I have
learned so much from
this course. This
has been one of the
most valuable
courses that I have
taken at [university
name here]. Now you
rank up there with
Coach Knight!

This was a great learning experience and I found this course very challenging and at some times almost impossible. Thank you Dr. Brenda Nelson-Porter for sharing your time and expertise in this field
.
Dr. Porter,
I will be sending you the online teaching certificate, and may I say, your scholarly approach to the subject matter and efforts to maintain a high standard of academic excellence with Learners will be missed by Northcentral University.

Great morning Dr. Brenda. I hope all is well. I was wondering if I would ever see the day when I was finally able to complete all my assignments. I cannot thank you enough for all your support, guidance, and understanding throughout my current ordeal. I really enjoyed working with you in this capacity and look forward to continuing this relationship. I would definitely be interested in learning more about the service you provide reference APA editing. Once again, it has been my pleasure and honor working with you. Have a great day!

Dr. B,
Thanks for all your time and guidance. The course took me places I'd like to
spend more time. It also opened my eyes to different opportunities, has given me
a place to work from to guide my girls, and teach my son.
With all due respect, you were no "powder puff" and I appreciate that. Keep
working hard for the ladies, and gentlemen. I wish all the best for you and your
5 children. Hope to see you in the Fortune 500 one day.
God bless you,

I also wanted to thank you for your assistance on the APA issues and where to find the reading within the APA manual. You have provided the best assistance I have received since starting courses with NCU in April. I really appreciate the feedback, and the detail you are able to provide. I am enjoying the course and hope I am able to receive such detailed and helpful assistance in my future courses.

First of all I would like to thank you for your constructive comments. It is the first time that I am receiving such important feedback and guidance. I have recently realized that there are mentors that spend too much time with the learner's coursework and it is very important in a distance learning program. I feel very happy about it. . . .
I would like to thank you one more time for help and guidance. I feel very lucky for choosing your course.
I would like to thank you one more time.
Your mentoring was of vital importance to me. You helped me to gain new
knowledge and improve my APA. Your comments also helped me in improving my
critical thinking as well as to learn how to implement the learned material.
Hopefully we'll "meet" again very soon. I would like to wish you every success
in your personal and professional life.

Five years after finishing my Masters Degree I decided to start my PhD. The choice was not easy and in the beginning I had thoughts of dropping out. Like most events in a person's life pursuing a PhD is a journey. Dr. B has been instrumental in the start of my journey and put me on the right path to success. Dr. B has been an encouragement and mentor in my second term at Northcentral University. As a mentor she has guided me in the improvement of my Doctoral work and at the same time challenged me to a greater understanding of degree material. Thank you Dr. B for helping me continue my dream of one day obtaining my PhD.

I attended a Computer Security conference in Manhattan yesterday, and I was amazed and relieved to find that I was able to follow most of the panel discussions. It appears that the industry and government are still struggling with the basics. . . .
